Outside of work, Brian enjoys golfing with his son, traveling with his family, and spending time outdoors whenever he can. He shares his home with his wife, Dr. Lynn Platt; his daughter, his son, and Josie, their crazy and spirited Toy Poodle; and two remarkably long-lived fish.

Today, he enjoys managing the hospital’s daily operations and interacting with the incredible team that helps make Colmar Veterinary Hospital a special place.
One of Brian’s favorite things about working at Colmar Veterinary Hospital is the collaborative and supportive atmosphere. He enjoys working alongside a dedicated team that shares a passion for providing exceptional care to pets and their families. His unofficial superpower is delivering classic dad jokes, which keep the team laughing throughout the day.
Education
Brian grew up in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, and attended Lansdale Catholic High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Eberly College of Science at Pennsylvania State University in 1999.
Work History
Before joining Colmar Veterinary Hospital in 2021, Brian spent approximately 20 years working as a pharmacologist in both the pharmaceutical industry and academic research at Drexel University.
