Personal Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, Sam enjoys listening to music, reading, playing video games, watching anime, drawing, coloring, attending concerts, exploring flea markets and art expos, going for walks, and spending time with friends and family. She shares her home with her two cats, Fuzzy Boi, a Domestic Short Hair, and Ducky, a Siamese.

Favorite Part of My Job

Sam’s professional interests include surgery, dentistry, animal husbandry, critical care, and client education. She particularly enjoys managing pharmacy responsibilities, including medication refills, laboratory results, and client communication, as well as assisting with technician appointments such as vaccine boosters, blood collection, allergy and arthritis injections, and laser therapy treatments. Her veterinary superpower is multitasking and keeping the many moving pieces of patient care organized and running smoothly.

One of Sam’s favorite things about working at Colmar Veterinary Hospital is the collaborative team environment. She appreciates being surrounded by knowledgeable and skilled coworkers who are always willing to jump in and lend a hand when needed.

Education

Sam graduated from Camden County College’s Veterinary Technology program in 2019 with an Associate of Applied Science degree and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2020.

During her education, Sam completed internships at Main Street Animal Hospital and Doylestown Veterinary Hospital, gaining valuable hands-on experience in patient care and veterinary medicine.

Professional Background

She has also dedicated her time to animal welfare through volunteer work with Animal Alliance in Lambertville, rescuing and finding homes for stray kittens, and providing pet-sitting services for both healthy pets and senior animals requiring medications and specialized care.
