Favorite Part of My Job
Jaclyn enjoys the variety that veterinary medicine offers and loves meeting all the different animals that come through the hospital each day. She appreciates the collaborative environment, where everyone works together and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Her veterinary superpower is IV catheter placement.

Work History
Following graduation, Jaclyn spent over a decade working at a mixed emergency and general practice veterinary hospital, where she gained extensive experience caring for a wide variety of species, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and other small mammals. She spent several years working exclusively in surgery, helping to further develop her passion for surgery and anesthesia.
In addition to her clinical experience, Jaclyn served as an adjunct lab instructor in the veterinary nursing program at Delaware Technical Community College, where she taught and evaluated students in exotic animal anesthesia and surgery.
