Personal Hobbies and Interests
When she’s not at the hospital, you’ll likely find Dr. Platt at the barn, her happy place, horseback riding or spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys Pilates, biking, swimming, and gardening. She shares her home with her husband, Brian; her daughter, her son, and Josie, their crazy and spirited Toy Poodle; and two remarkably long-lived fish.
Favorite Part of My Job
Her professional interests include preventive care, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.
What Dr. Platt enjoys most about veterinary medicine is building long-term relationships with families and caring for their pets throughout every stage of life, from puppyhood and kittenhood through their senior years. She believes every patient deserves individualized care and takes pride in developing treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each pet and family.
Dr. Platt feels privileged to do the work she loves every day alongside the exceptional team at Colmar Veterinary Hospital. She is grateful for the trust that so many families have placed in the hospital and values the lasting relationships she has built with clients, patients, and the dedicated staff who make Colmar Veterinary Hospital such a special place.
