Personal Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, Carly enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and her horse, Flower. She shares her home with her husband, Chris; her daughter; two cats, Sofia and Ariel; and a flock of ten chickens.

Favorite Part of My Job

Carly particularly enjoys helping geriatric patients maintain a good quality of life and is always excited for appointments involving cats. Her coworkers often refer to her as the "cat whisperer" thanks to her ability to connect with even the most particular feline patients.

One of Carly's favorite things about working at Colmar Veterinary Hospital is the camaraderie among the team. She values working alongside compassionate colleagues who support one another while providing exceptional care to their patients.

Work History

Carly began her veterinary career in 2011 as a kennel assistant. Early on, she developed a passion for patient care when the surgery technicians took her under their wing and provided hands-on learning opportunities. Through extensive on-the-job training and experience, she built a strong foundation in veterinary medicine that has continued to grow throughout her career.

Over the years, Carly has worked in a variety of veterinary settings, including general practice, specialty and emergency medicine, diagnostic laboratory services, and equine dentistry. Her experience includes positions with Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic, Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialty & Emergency, IDEXX Laboratories, Cardinal Equine Veterinary Dentistry, and now Colmar Veterinary Hospital.
