Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her dog, Carter, as well as gardening, reading, quilting, and tackling home improvement projects. She shares her home with Carter, her dog, and Waffles, her cat, who would both tell you she’s simply there to serve them.
Favorite Part of My Job
Amy enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, particularly working with clients and their pets in the exam room, collecting patient histories, and helping families navigate their pets’ healthcare needs. She also enjoys working in surgery and coordinating patient care to help ensure each day runs smoothly. Her goal is to make every pet’s visit as calm, stress-free, and positive as possible.
One of Amy’s favorite things about working at Colmar Veterinary Hospital is the collaborative team environment. She enjoys working alongside coworkers who support one another and share a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Amy has a special talent for working with fractious pets, especially cats, and she never misses an opportunity to enjoy a puppy or kitten visit.

Amy earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Kutztown University in 1991. In 2001, she decided to pursue her lifelong love of animals and returned to school, earning her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology from Manor College in 2003.
Since then, she has enjoyed a rewarding career as a veterinary technician and joined the Colmar Veterinary Hospital team in November 2020.
